Updating from my beachchair on pass a grille, how horrible is my life right? Lexi sent an email that we are adding an additional 30% off to the markdown prices. And since so many of you will be out and about this NSD weekend, we will be staying open until 11pm tonight and opening bright and early at8am tomorrow. Stop by. We have lots of product And bargains. It won't be a NSD without a trip to the Shoppe. We now return to listening to our iPod and soaking up some rays. Speaking of Rays, go Rays!

We had a wonderful Spring Break. The entire vacation was fun, relaxing, beautiful and GREAT! We did lots of exploring- caves, river tubing, a "drive-in" volcano, boat rides, and swimming in the "glow in the dark" bay. We also spent lots of time sprawled on the beach soaking up some rays. We hiked to the Brimstone Fortress on St. Kitts and took a water taxi to the Pitons on St. Lucia. We held on tight to our tubes and went down the rapids in a river on the island of Dominica. I think even Kimmie had fun. If nothing else, she has a terrific sunburn to show for her vacation. Attaching a few photos.

Happy to be home, the store is getting a makeover this week, we are condensing product and moving stuff around, it looks great. I am sure we will run a special this weekend, so stay tuned.

Leaving on a jet plane

Today, about noon or so when Tammy gets here, starts my long awaited vacation! Spring Break is next week and we got a great deal on a cruise. So off we go, our flight leaves from Orlando at 7am tomorrow morning to Puerto Rico, then our cruise leaves Sunday from San Juan. We have lots of fun things planned. Our course, Kimmie is not so excited about being on Spring Break with the "parentals" but we are going to try and bring out her "inner geek" and have a good time anyway. We are going to swim in a glow in the dark bay and go river tubing, how cool is that?

This day is also my 20th wedding Anniversary. Yep, Brad is a keeper and I think the next 20 years will be even better than the first. We are celebrating by heading out to the Rays game tonight. I am hoping for a sweep of the Orioles. The last two games have been exciting. I hope Evan hits one in left again, we are sitting out there ready to knock down small children and little old ladies to get a ball.

Just because I won't be here does not mean you should not come in. We are still having our sale and have LOTS of product on the shelves. Stop by for a bargain. We have been finding more product and samples in the garage and storage areas and we have not even started finished. I found something to give away this weekend too. MORE? OK, why not. It's not like we are going out of business or anything. LOL. We are remarking the Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas sections (paper and embellishments) to 50% off original price. Great deals to be had.

Saturday, the first 48 customers to make a purchase will get a free Dream Street alphabet set. There are lots of letters on the sheet and the letters are very cute. Easy to color with inks, chalks and pens. I expect you all to come in and give Lexi and Anna a hard time. I need them happy to see me when I get back.

It's finally here- OPENING DAY!

Since most of you know I am a Rays fan, it will come as no surprise that today is the end of a long drought of no Rays baseball. How excited am I? Pretty darned excited!!!!!!!!!! I am planning an evening of painting Kimmie's toes (vacation in three days and National Honor Society inductions tomorrow night) while listening to 620am during the game.

I think this year's team is amazing. I am super excited about our new catcher, Kelly and our new utility player Sean. The guys looked great in Spring Training (best Spring Training record in baseball, thank you very much). Even Pat Burrell has a soft spot in my heart, for now. He better hit this season or I am getting Guido. I think our guys will go all the way. I am already starting the change collecting for World Series tickets. Mean it, we are going the distance this year.

So, GO RAYS! Here is my favorite player Matt Garza. Gotta love a man who talks to his glove in front of thirty thousand people!
