The brand spanking, HOT HOT HOT Tim Holtz book is in 'da house! It's called A Compendium of Curiosities. It has LOTS of how-to's, what's thats, and oh that's cool within it's pages. To top it off, the new Distress Ink colors arrived along with the books and we are ready to help feed your love of all things Tim. I have quite a few books, but with the Treasure Hunt starting this weekend, you may want to call and have us put one aside for you to pick up. If you call and reserve a book, I will give you until Sunday to pick it up and then, poof, it's back on the shelf quicker than you can say Tonic Scissors (we got those back in also).

I hope you guys are getting excited about the Treasure Hunt. We hope it will be the best one yet. We are looking forward to seeing the "bus pirates" and all of our friends and customers who come dressed in pirate costumes. You always make us smile. Lexi, Tammy, Nancy and I have been crazy busy getting tags made, new product checked in and shelved and tomorrow is decorating day!

Speaking of new product- we've got some AMAZING STUFF coming in during the next few days- including K and Co, Crate Paper, Queen and Company, Paper Adventures, Creative Imaginations, Bella Blvd, Websters Pages and Reminisce. So there is a lot to look forward to this crazy, pirate adventure filled weekend.

Bus Riders, UNITE!

Have you called to reserve your spot on one of our fun "pirate party buses"? The Violette's bus is full but not the Scrapbooking in Paradise bus. They are looking for a few fun crew members to walk the plank with them as they pillage the stores around the bay.

I have my very own (Wyoming) COWBOY!

Congrats to my Jessica who was accepted as a Freshman to the University of Wyoming. Why Wyoming? No flipping clue, but we are going to do our VERY best to send her there, out of state tuition and all. (But's it's nice to have UWF and UCF as a cushion) Brad and I are SO PROUD of her, she has worked so hard at overcoming obstacles and hurdles along her path. Hard work pays off.

Friday was a GREAT day! Edit- Totes sold out!

I spent yesterday at the Florida High School Athletic Association Competitive Cheerleading Competition in Kissimmee. What a fabulous day to be a Knights cheerleader! For the first time, RHS made the State Finals. We are so proud of them. They ended up placing 4th overall in the state in the Small Co-ed division. One of our boys was even approached by UCF cheerleading, one of the BEST cheerleading programs in the country. So proud of him. So congrats Knights (and ALL the Hillsborough teams that made finals and there were a bunch!), you ROCK!

The Wonderful Wizard of OZ

Brad and I went to opening night for Wicked last night. It is always such a treat to go to a show and Wicked is one of my favorites. It was my fourth time and I still love it. So, I am going to give up one of my Julie "travel secrets" for you to see Wicked CHEAP!

Wicked has a lottery drawing 2 hours prior to every performance (arrive a few minutes before to put your name in the drawing). If they choose your name, you can buy up to two tickets for $25.00 cash each. Mean it, been there, done that- three times now. Best part, GREAT SEATS. We were first box Mezzanine last night and few lucky winners were front row. So, bring a PHOTO ID, bring CASH, and cross your fingers.

Wicked will be here for the month, make sure you go (the Glinda is an absolute hoot). I don't know if you recognize the Wizard. If you can name the TV Sitcom that made him famous, comment below and I will give you a prize. I will draw Monday morning.
