Well that title pretty much summed it up. A few reminders about this weekend.

We are hosting our first Cosmo Cricket day. We had the opportunity to buy some Paper Crafting Kits at a good price and we are passing along the savings to you. And just in case you need some ideas, Tammy and I have been busy making samples all week to inspire you with Cosmo.

Cosmo Cricket Day- all day, Saturday, January 30th. We will be "shaking" up some real Cosmos in the afternoon too. Join us for 9.99 (reg 14.99) paper crafting kits from Cosmo, a free make and take card and lots of samples to inspire you.

Fixture Sale- also Saturday, January 30th. We have been "unearthing" some plastic trays, wire paper racks, wire ink racks, spinner racks and more from our back room. We have 10 years of fixtures back there, quite frankly it's a mess back there. Help us clean it out. Stop in for a bargain to help organize your craft room.

CHA Hot product presales- We will be pre-selling some of our favorite company's new releases including collection packs from Cosmo Cricket, Basic Grey and Crate Paper. Catalogs and/or samples will be available.

Treasure Hunt- just a note to let you that we are more than halfway sold out of our Treasure Hunt bags. Give us a ring if you need to reserve yours. We have been busy busy getting our make and take and tags ready. Make sure you do not miss this event. Also, if you are interested in taking the bus, please read the previous post.

NEW PRODUCT- Yep, it's starting. This week we have new Anna Griffin Isabella (think Lilly fabric patterns and colors, yummy), Best Creations Once Upon a Dream and Transportation Glitter paper, and 8 new colors of SMOOCH.

Treasure Hunt information- edited 2/2

 
Hello Scrappers! We wanted to share some much anticipated news about the Treasure Hunt. We have prices and schedules for the buses. We will have buses leaving from two locations again this year, one from Violettes in Lakeland and one from Scrapbooking in Paradise in South Pasedena (St Pete Beach area). If you would like to participate in the Treasure Hunt but do not want to drive, this is the ticket for you. The buses will take two days to visit all of the stores. The bus will be the first weekend again, Saturday, February 27th and Sunday, February 28th. The cost is $70.00 for a two day ticket. If you are interested in taking the "party bus- and yes, we hear it is a party", please call the departure location of your choice to sign up and make payment. Please bring your own lunch and snacks. We will do our best to find a lunch option for you near a store but no guarantees. However, I am sure the stores will keep you well fed throughout your trip.

This is a tentative schedule, we understand that some travel times may be longer or shorter, and some stores may take longer than others, but it is all relative. These times can vary due to traffic or unforeseen difficulties. We are trying to allow one and a half hours shopping time at each store to reduce stress on everyone.

February Classes

Here are a list of the February Classes and Kits. Give us a call if you would like to reserve a kit or class.

Friday is KIT DAY! Kits will be ready for pick up on Fridays. The cost is $15.00 in advance or once they are in the "kit bin" they will be $18.00.

Kits- Friday, February 5th- Hockey and England

Friday, February 12th- Valentine- cute and Valentine- elegant

Friday, February 19th- Family and Chef Mickey

Classes-

Sunday, February 7th- Donna's card and book class- $20.00 12pm-4pm. You will be creating 5   cards (2 St Pats and 3 Spring) and a small mini book.

Wednesday, February 17th- Beginner's Class. Bring 5-10 related photos and we will help you create your first layout. Learn about tools, design and more.

Sunday, February 21st- 10 for $25.00 layout class. Our most popular class. Call quick for a spot in this one.

Friday Night Crop club will be on Friday the 5th, 12th and 19th. $15.00

Saturday Day Crop Club will be on Saturday the 6th, 13th and 20th. $15.00

Don't forget about the 4th Annual Scrapbook Treasure Hunt from February 26th to March 7th.

I had "date night" with Brad last night. Dinner and a movie. I forgot how lovely that is. It must explain my good mood today. We saw The Blind Side which was amazing. A truly great story and Sandra Bullock was fab-u. This movie will make you believe the world is a magical place where good things DO happen to those who are worthy.

Work today is going great too. Lexi put out new papers from Dream Street (new to us anyway). We also have the Valentina line from Anna Griffin. It's very pretty. We also hear that new Smooch colors (and old ones too) should be at the Shoppe next week. New Smooch colors include- Illuminate, Olive Twist, Ocean Soul, Tuxedo, Carrot, Sassy Pink, Sundance, Plum Twist, and Kiwi. Be on the lookout for the blog post when they arrive.

It's ALMOST baseball season!

I bought my Spring Training tickets for the Rays this morning. Can I tell you how happy I am it's almost time for baseball? Brad and I will be heading down to Port Charlotte to see the Rays vs. Philllies on March 12th and the Rays vs. the Marlins on March 13th. Spending the night, eating dinner at a great pub in Punta Gorda. Life is going to be good!

Give us a call if you want to pre-pay for your Tampa Bay Scrapbook Treasure Hunt. The cost is $10.00 per bag and we are limiting to one bag per participant this year. We will be happy to sell you a second one if we do not sell out. (Yes, you can still call and reserve several bags, we just need names to go with them).

The cost of the tote is the same as last year. $10.00 will get you a tote, 6x6 album, surprise goodies inside, beads, and a pirate passport. At each store, you will get a free 6x6 make and take (or take and make), and a tag to hang on your pirate beads. When you purchase $5.00 at each store, your passport will get stamped. If you complete your passport (11 stores this year- welcome Stamp and Scrap A Latte) you will be entered into the grand prize drawings. The prizes this year are even better than last year.
