New at the Shoppe!

New, yep new! We all love new. We have busy putting out new things at the store. We have the new Juliette line from SEI, new valentines from Pink Paislee and vintage valentine from Fancy Pants. Yummy stuff. Also new is the Passports collection from Reminisce. We are always expanding our travel section and these papers and embellishments have added even more to our huge travel section.

Back from a wonderful vacation

We had a wonderful (but cold) time in New Mexico. The sightseeing was great. We enjoyed Los Alamos, Bandelier National Monument, Chimayo, Taos Pueblo, Georgia O' Keeffe museum and downtown Santa Fe. We also saw three movies at the Santa Fe Film Festival- definitely go see the new George Clooney film, Up in the Air. I don't think it was more than 30 degrees in the afternoon and one morning it was a whole 6 degrees. The snow was on the ground all over and the girls enjoyed stomping around in it. They also enjoyed a small snowball fight that I almost managed to stay out of. I thought I would post a few photos.

 

Hello from the Land of Enchantment!

Just because I am not at the Shoppe does not mean I am not checking in! The family "vaca" is going great. The weather is wicked cold, in the single digits at night and early morning. The girls have finally seen snow, threw snowballs (yes, Tammy they got me as you asked), and stomped around in the fluffy white stuff. The scenery is breathtaking and today we will be hanging out in Santa Fe, seeing the Georgia O'Keefe museum and other local museums. Can't wait.

As Lexi said in the last post, I have been "on vacation" even before my vacation started. Yep, true. But I guess the cold weather unfreezed my brain and I just may have a few "cool yule" ideas. Can't wait to get the ball rolling on that. I should be back in the store on Tuesday and announcing something soon after. Stay tuned.

Finally, the Knights lost the semi-final game to Glade Central. Thanks for all of your well wishes, we had an AMAZING year. Proud to be a Knight.
