Lots going on today. It's Kimmie's 15th birthday. Her present is that I am not making her clean the bathroom tonight. No really, taking her to the Rays game, buying her a bloomin' onion, FUN! It's also class sign up day. I will be posting the classes here. Give me about an hour. I will email Tammy to put it up on the regular website later. I will also be sending out a regular mass email this morning, so look for that as well.

Thanks for your patience guys, I think the pink dye seeped into my brain and slowed me down. It could also be that I gave up Diet Coke last week and my body hates me for the caffeine withdrawl.

Friday, June 5^th- Friday Night Crop Club- Sign up for one crop and get all three for the month of June. What a deal! Snacks and drinks included. Friday Night Crop Club dates for June are the 5^th, 19^th and 26^th. 6pm-11pm (OK, more like midnight). Fee- $15.00

SATURDAY, JUNE 6^th and SUNDAY, JUNE 7th LIMIT 10 in class. Please do not sign up UNLESS you can commit to both days. Saturday and Sunday. It is really a two part class. A digital SLR camera is not required but is most HELPFUL in this class. This is a free class. Saturday 11am and Sunday at Noon. Plan for at least three hours per day.

Digital photography 101:

Learn how to use your compact digital camera to its fullest. We will cover the basic creative zones, lighting, subject matter, image size, and resolution. Also learn the rule of thirds and how to think creatively when taking pictures.

DSLR basics: Learn the 3 basic components for a great picture aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. Go over each person’s camera to help them find these settings and learn some basics for creating picture perfect photos. Get Photo assignment.

DSLR beginners: Work in the image zone on the dial for pictures. Print session from session 1 and share, critique, and discuss the photos. Photo assignment 2

DSLR Intermediate: Learn the creative zones and how to get the most from those settings also about the shades of grey. Print session from session 2 and share, critique, and discuss the photos. Photo assignment 3

DSLR Advance: Talk about setting for specifics such as story telling, portrait, macro, and action shots. Review all zones and 3 factors for great pictures. Print session from session 3 and share, critique, and discuss the photos.
