I hear we left Tampa just before 3 inches of rain fell. We just missed a thunderstorm in Chicago as well. Good signs I hope. We landed at Midway. Yes, the convention is near the OTHER airport, but a hundred dollar roundtrip fare was too good to pass up. Lexi and I took the "L" downtown, changed trains and made it to the hotel in about 2 hours. That was as long as the flight! For those of you who know Lexi, she was shooting daggers at me with her eyes for making her ride the subway so long. Lexi is kind of a travel snob. It's a good thing she likes the hotel. It really is convenient to the convention center. After a VERY short night's sleep, we were in sales meetings from 9am to 7:30pm tonight. Needless to say we are tired. We have seen some pretty cool stuff so far. Lexi and I are looking over a few more catalogs tonight and I will give you a run down on what we are looking (buying) at tomorrow. I don't mean to keep you in suspense, but I want to make sure I get it right. To give you a tease, the new Luxe is pretty in person and the Tinkering Ink Yuletide line rocks 'da house. To make Melissa Hardee happy, we will be looking at 7 Gypsies tonight. It is stunning in person and I think Melissa is going to be a happy camper. Miss you guys already. Miss Brad and the girls. Too tired to go downtown, I must be getting old. More tomorrow! Julie
Buy lots of Luxe and 7 Gypsies!
