Well Mateys, the Tampa Bay Scrapbook Treasure Hunt is over. Jack Sparrow (excuse me, Captain Jack Sparrow) is sailing off into the sunset in his pirate ship as I wave goodbye with a chilled martini in my hand. Thanks for a great week and I hope we can do this again sometime! I hope that all the participants had a fun time visiting stores, doing make and takes and shopping! We will be getting together soon to do the prize drawings. The lucky winners will be called AND posted on the website. So good luck to you, ya scallywags!
Now that the Treasure Hunt is over, on to the next event on the schedule. This week has TWO important events. First, our Silent Auction to benefit the Ronald McDonald House is this Tuesday. Come and bid on page samples from this past year. Take home layouts ready for photos AND do something worthwhile! If you have not been to one of our auctions, they are fun. Call for details. Second, this Thursday starts sign ups for our National Scrapbook Day crop. You must come in PERSON starting this Thursday March 1st. We will be open from 8am-8pm this Thursday to accomodate as many people as possible. This is one of our BIGGEST events of the year. Don't miss it. More details including cost, dates, times, etc can be found further down the blog or on our website. Call us at the store if you have any questions.
I am off to finish the martini. I have retyped many of these words a few times, so I know the martini is working. LOL. More soon, I have not yet told you about the DC saga. It involves a last minute plane ticket and a husband who does not communicate well. Good story for another day.
